Take a delicious journey to Southeast Asia right here in Assagao, North Goa. Village 36 serves comfort food inspired
by the vibrant streets of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
This space is designed by Sussanne Khan (The Charcoal Project) and was a crumbling Indo-Porto house that’s been restored
keeping the original charming characteristics of the structure intact. Walk into tastefully designed cosy interiors
and breezy outdoor seating canopied by the lush green tropical foliage of Goa.
Heartfelt meticulousness has been poured into the cooking process of the meat that lends a complex intensity of flavour
like the succulent Beijing Duck and Roast Pork with crackling. Locally sourced hydroponic greens and
authentic Manipuri rice add rich, aromatic, and earthy flavours to the menu.
We like to turn up the heat with a variety of chillies like green jalapenos and bhoot jholakia.
